Hey Guys
Took the relevant declaration and log book to the post office yesterday for my 76 B.
Was told that I didn’t require the declaration, they scanned the log book and gave a receipt, job done!
It was already registered as “historic” so that may have helped.
Makes a nice change to save a little money!
So it is now true.
Nice one Richh.
I am hoping to join you in the next month or so when my B1 completes restoration
Just in from hols and checked bikes, fuel tap is leaking on the B again. Does anyone sell a repair kit that works?
Hi Richh
Hope you had a good holiday.
I have never had a problem with repair kits. I have got mine from NRP. If you have had more than one failure that would suggest to me there is a faulty with the parts of the tap itself. Have you checked it over?
We missed you at the Raven today.
Bizarrely, having filled up with Shell super unleaded, the leaky tap is cured!! for the moment
Now that is weird.
I can only guess it has something to do with the additives in the fuel. Fingers crossed it is cured now.
Still not leaking!
