    Hi AtLarge,

after some nice late summer days with up to 30°C (86°F), yesterday the autumn started in southern Germany (Munich).
Heavy rain showers with danger of flooding in some areas. Official bad weather warnings applied.

It shouldn’t be that bad next Sunday, but weather forecast states it will be cloudy with chance of rain at 15 to 18°C (59 to 65°F).
    A bit more fresh than your 70°F (21°C) 😉

Well, will wear my Belstaff jacket, that should fit the weather and the desired DGR oldstyle look.

    Cheers, Michael

We’ve had strange weather here too. It’s been a mixture of local flooding to record temperatures.

Next Sunday is looking like heavy rain.

    Happy days

As this stands we have 4 750 twins attending the Lancashire ride. Not quite a record but a great and promising turnout.

Well, we are cancelled due to heavy rain and flooding. More expected tomorrow. Rescheduled for next weekend. Wishing everyone else safe traveling tomorrow.

Thank You AtLarge for you good wishes. It is a shame yours has been cancelled but safety is paramount.

Our forecast for the UK Lancashire ride is quite reasonable. It should be mainly dry with sunny spells and the possibility of the occasional shower.

We will have 4 750 twins on the ride which is a great turnout for the UK. Should be a great day out.

    Hi Lonesome Twins,

I was the only Z750Twin attending the Munich ride amongst approx. 400(!) attendees.

Other “Twintreiber” joined other rides 😉

Well, the weather turned out to be fantastic !
A bit fresh in the morning, but sunshine all the day, just some decorative clouds in the sky.

Finally we ended with a group picture at the famous “Königsplatz”.
Koenigsplatz = Place of the King.

    Have a look.

    Cheers, Michael

Of course there where other Twins present.

Even ones with strange cylinder angle and 26″ wheels front and rear 😉
    Engine sounds awesome !
He was riding approx. 15 km / 10 miles at next position to me.

    Cheers, Michael

    Respect Michael.

A solo 750 twin ride amongst 400. That is impressive. Its a lot off riders. I hope it was well organised and the weather held for you.

Found the video taken by my friend Richi.
It took exactly five minutes for us all to pass his position.

You can see me with Belstaff and jet helmet at 1:37 😉

At 2:16 you can see the guy with the 26″-wheeled bike (Harley?)

At 2:37 a crash could be avoided with effort. It was a guest from our MDMC wrench crew causing the situation as we all stopped right behind Richi in a narrow road for parking and enjoying the scenery.

At 3:35 you can see a white BMW Cabriolet. A photographer was sitting in there and took pics during the ride. I will watch out to find his pics.

At 4:58 you can see our crew and me again.
The guy driving as the last participant in the queue is a friend of ours as well 😉

Absolutely amazing ride and a lot of people standing at the roadside and were waving to us.

    Cheers, Michael

    They are great pictures AtLarge.

It is great to be part of a group across the globe with people you have never met.

Your twin shines out like a jewel.

Respect to all who took part.
